I’m sure you’ve heard it many times already, but sometimes we forget that to be there for others we first need to look after ourselves. If your energy levels are low and you are suffering from stress or burn-out, this will inevitably affect the person you care for. As an OT, I understand how important it is for you to fullfil your various roles in life. However, I would like you to realise that you can also have a balanced, healthy and nurturing routine.
In these four group sessions, blending my experience as an occupational therapist, yoga teacher and thetahealer, I will introduce you to different self-care and self-love strategies. You will become familiar with yoga and meditation practices, relaxation and breathing techniques, and some principles of aromatherapy.
Together, we will design your tool-kit of self-love and self-care that you will be able to incorporate in your everyday routine. You don’t need to be at a spa or retreat to nurture yourself.
